My family went to Florida during and after winter break. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't been there for about 7 years, so this was nice.Basically we stayed in the car for the first 3 states, and then in Georgia we did some serious leg stretching. (Click on pictures for full size.)

2. We went to the Ocmulgee mounds. This was amazing. They have some of the best preserved artifacts in America as well as the mounds. There are 3 big ones. The greater worship mound, the lesser worship mound, and the funeral mound. Cooler though, is the gathering place. It's a smaller hollowed out mound that has a bunch of sort off hollowed out sitting areas. Most amazing, at the place where they think the chief sat, a beam of light comes through the door and lands directly on the seat on the spring and Autumn equinox.
3. We went to see the Bickerstaff family! They have 4 boys. They live out in the country and they have a farm with chickens, and goats, and bees, and 2 dogs, and a garden! It was really cool. We had lunch with them and I got to milk a goat!!!!!! And I got to hold a chicken, and ride a goat. The goat and chicken didn't enjoy it as much as I did though.
Then we got to Florida, and to the Femmininio's. We arrived late, and after about an hour of visiting, we passed out. We had 3 days of playing games, making movies, driving Mario-cart, and watching t.v., playing with gerbils, listening to parrots, setting of fireworks, dancing, eating, (pork, but not husband this time) and lynching each other. This last one is from the game Lupus in Tabula, a game we played every night, morning, and afternoon. If you want to try this game, bring 5 people over and we'll show you.
After this we went to Disney. When we came in we went to Downtown Disney. We saw lots, our favorite probably being the Lego store.
Next, the Animal Kingdom lodge to meet up with Renee, Aunt Joy, and Brett. We saw lots of giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and antelope. (No, you don't normally see those in Florida.) And we had a magnificent meal.
Then we went to our hotel. It was sweet, but the best was the pool. The whole thing was as wide as a house, and curled around it, half way inside the water was a giant sea serpent. Its tongue was a water slide. The whole thing was amazing, and I loved it.

The next day we woke up and saw Renee at Epcot; she used to work at Disney and her husband still does.
Then we went to Disney Hollywood Studios. Highlights were Muppet studios ("I'm dying of laughter" funny), Prince Caspian, Sounds Dangerous, and The Magic of Cartooning. Something funny: we went to the Ariel show, and they had technical difficulties. That's the ol' Golden charm.
Next we went to Magic Kingdom. We weren't there for long, but I saw the castle, got a sucker, saw the Country Bear Jamboree, (5 laughs, 3 stars) and rerode the first roller coaster I had ever been on, the Barn Stormer( ah, memories). We tried to get to adventure land, but we wanted to get to get to Epcot, and the parade was starting, and if we didn't leave then we'd most likely never get to Epcot. In Epcot we went inside the dome. There was this awesome ride where you went through the past, then created your own future. Then we went to the Nemo aquarium, which was cool, funny, and breathtaking. Big wow. After that we went to the countries for dinner, and we watched the fireworks. It was truly spectacular, they lit up all the countries, and the giant globe opened up, and fire works shot out from right below the rails you were standing at. Absolutely amazing.
The next day we went to the Wilderness lodge for breakfast. It was certainly breakfast and a show. The waiters had the kids race around the restaurant on those stick/horse thingies. This one girl said she was really really thirsty, and they brought her a bucket of water. One girl had a birthday, so they brought her a cupcake then ate it themselves. It was a very.... Interesting experience. Then we went over to Fort Wilderness and went to the stables and stuff there. Then we took the boat back to the lodge and left for the Femminineos.Almost. We had Xavi with us, so we had to stop at a comic shop. Then we got to the Femminineos.

The Femminineos gave me a birthday party! They got me an awesome birthday cake that looked like a castle, and they put a dragon on it!!
The next day we went to Universal. My absolute favorite there was the Hogwarts ride. I would not recommend this ride if you:
- Are scared of heights
- Get motion sickness
- Have Pyrophobia
- Have Arachnophobia (cause I sure do)
- Have back trouble
- Don't like loud noises
- Don't like surprises
- Dislike Dementors
- Dislike Dragons
- Don't like jerking violently
- Don't like whipping around really fast
- Are younger than 5
- Are scared of the dark
- Don't like Harry Potter.
The rest of Universal was great too. My second favorite thing there was Poseidon's Fury, which was kind of a moving play about my favorite subject: Greek mythology. We also went to Seuss Landing, which was really silly, but pretty fun. Xavi spent most of his time at Superhero City. (Figures.) While he was there, we (Fiona, Margaret, Uncle Mark, Dad, and Moi.) went on the Jurassic park water ride. It starts out really sweet, dinosaurs are playing in the water, you get sprayed a bit. But then you swerve into the Velociraptor cage! You pass a wrecked boat with the number "203" painted on the side. The radio is blaring "Boat 203! Some tourists have wandered into the Velociraptor cage! We have to get them out! They'll be killed...." Encouraging things like that. Then we get into this dark garage thing. Velociraptors are growling at you, more freaking out radios, and then, finally, a 25 foot tall T.Rex. It starts to lunge at you and then... you drop. Huge splash. After that, we were soaked.

We figured it could not get worse. We figured wrong.. it could get worse. We went on the Popeye ride. Imagine this: You are being sloshed around in this rickety little boat thing, and water is being sprayed at you, Dumped on you, sploshed on you, thrown at you, and you would be drowning but the staff is to smart for that.
We were pretty soaked.
I had an amazing time in Florida, and so did the rest of my family.
Awesome! I want to go to HP world!!!!!
