Ring Around The Rosy

Do any of you readers know what that nursery rhyme "Ring around the Rosy" really means? Well I just found out, and I'm feeling that the kids that sing it and know what it means, are disturbed.
Rings around red spots on your skin is a symptom of Pox, a fatal disease back when the rhyme was created. When people go to funerals, they put posies in their pockets. They had to burn the bodies into ashes so the virus couldn't spread. But someone else would always catch it and everyone would fall down dead.....
Disturbing, yes? No? If you say no, you are disturbed.
